Robert L. Rice, M.D., Ph.D.

After graduating from John Hopkins University with honors, Dr. Rice earned his doctorate and his medical doctorate at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He did an internal medicine residency at University Hospitals Case Medical Center in Cleveland and then completed a fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. While at Vanderbilt University, he was also a Research Fellow in the National Institute of Health Specialized Program of Research Excellence (SPORE) for gastrointestinal cancers. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology and Hematology. In addition to being published several times, Dr. Rice was the recipient of multiple awards including the American Associates of Cancer Research Young Investigator Award.

Dr. Rice resides in Finksburg, Maryland with his wife and son. He enjoys reading and cooking in his spare time.
