Dr. Weltz received his medical degree from University for the Health Sciences School of Medicine in Kansas City. He completed his internship, residency and fellowship in hematology/oncology at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. Dr. Weltz is board certified in internal medicine, hematology, oncology and hospice and palliative medicine. In 2002 he obtained a Master’s in Business Administration and in 2003 a Master’s in Public Health from Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Weltz is the current medical director for Hospice of the Chesapeake of Prince George’s County. He is a fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP).
