Dr. David Haidak, who started the practice of Oncology- Hematology Associates P.A. in 1976, was the inaugural Fellow at Lombardi Cancer Institute. Dr. Haidak graduated from Yale in 1965 and received his medical doctorate from Albany Medical College in 1969. His residency and internship were completed at Georgetown University Hospital and D.C. General Hospital. He then completed his hematology and oncology fellowships at Georgetown University Hospital and George Washington University Medical Center.
He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Society of Hematology. He has published multiple papers and is a previous Clinical Associate Professor at Georgetown University Hospital. He also served as Chief of Service at PG General Hospital for more than a decade. Dr. Haidak is an avid outdoor sportsman who enjoys hunting and fishing.
